Viennese Waltz - Too fast for a plumber?

Last week my wife and I were up to 40 beats per minute while dancing the Viennese Waltz. Tonight's lesson = 50 beats per minute! The real speed should be 60 beats per minute and we are working our way up. Maybe with practice we can get there in two more weeks.
